Conference lodging will be at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The contact information for the front desk is:

Lodging at the hotel is still available on a first-come, first-served basis. This year, in order to meet conference hotel obligations, attendees are requested to book lodging through the Registration site. The conference rate will be $107.50 per person for all 4 days/3 nights of the conference. Sorry, the same rate will apply whether you are coming in for all or part of the conference, however still represent a significant cost savings in comparison to booking directly through the hotel. Room suites will have a 6 person capacity (2 twins and a fold out day sofa). Rooms not filled with six people will have other same-sex individuals assigned to the room. Please email the Registration Team for any further assistance.
The hotel has paid Valet parking available for conference guests staying at the hotel.
Air
For those coming in from out of town, please fly into Portland International Airport (PDX) This year, we are suspending airport pickups and we invite all conference attendees to share a cab or take the TriMet Light Rail to the conference hotel from the aiport.
- Driving From Portland International Airport (PDX)
- Take the I-205 South and merge onto I-84 East. Take the I-5 South Exit on the left towards Salem/Beaverton. Take exit Morrison St./City Center. Take a slight right onto Morrison Bridge. Continue straight to go onto the ramp. Then take a slight left onto Washington Street. After that turn right onto 4th Ave. Finally turn right onto SW Pine St.
- Taking The MAX From The Airport
In the spirit of being “green”, we encourage all conference participants to take the affordable and convenient TriMet Light Rail (The MAX) from the airport to downtown.

- After getting off the plane and exiting the gates; go through the security checkpoints and head down to baggage claim.
- There will be signs throughout the airport indicating where baggage claim is located.
- Once attendees get their baggage, head towards baggage claim 2.
- At baggage claim 2, there will be a sign that indicates where the MAX, or light rail train, is – which is slightly to the right, once attendees exit the doors across from baggage claim 2.
- Across from baggage claim 2 are machines to purchase MAX tickets and there are also machines outside right next to the MAX.
- Purchase All Zone Tickets, which is $2.05 each.
- After purchasing tickets, attendees should board the red line MAX, there is only one MAX that goes downtown from the airport.
- At baggage claim 2, there will be a sign that indicates where the MAX, or light rail train, is – which is slightly to the right, once attendees exit the doors across from baggage claim 2.
- Ride the Maxline past the Steel bridge http://trimet.org/index.shtml
- The best stop for attendees to get off of the MAX is Oak and SW 1st Ave.
- Be prepared to get off of the MAX after the Skidmore Fountain stop. Oak and SW 1st Ave is the MAX stop right after Skidmore Fountain.

- After getting off at Oak and SW 1st MAX, head North and walk a block towards Pine St.
- At 1st and Pine, turn left and head Northwest, walk two blocks up towards 3rd, Embassy Suites Hotel is located on the right.
- Total ETA of trip should take up to 30 minutes
- In case attendees miss the Oak and 1st Ave stop, attendees should get off at Morrison and SW 3rd Ave, which is two stops after Oak and SW 1st Ave.
- At the corner of Morrison and 3rd Ave, attendees should walk straight on 3rd towards Pine St.
- Once attendees reach 3rd and Pine, Embassy Suites Hotel is located on the left.
- In case attendees miss the Oak and 1st Ave stop, attendees should get off at Morrison and SW 3rd Ave, which is two stops after Oak and SW 1st Ave.
- The best stop for attendees to get off of the MAX is Oak and SW 1st Ave.
- After getting off the plane and exiting the gates; go through the security checkpoints and head down to baggage claim.

For ground transportation to Portland Greyhound and Amtrak provides service to Portland.
Car
